Demo Session FAQ

  • Q. When do I present my demo?

    A. You get two opportunities to present your demo. You will get an opportunity for a quick 5 min presentation during the demo session (See the conference program on the website for details.) Additionally, we will provide space for each demo during the poster session on Jan 3.

  • Q. What facilities do I get during the poster session?

    A. You will get a poster board just like other poster presenters. You will also get a desk with power connections for presenting your demo.

  • Q. Will I get an LED screen on the desk during the poster session?

    A. No.

  • Q. Will I get internet connectivity on the desk during the poster session?

    A. No. You need to manage that on your own. There might be paid internet available

  • Q. What is the venue for the poster session?

    A. The poster session will be hosted in the combined Ball Room (Berne 1, 2 and 3) on the evening of Jan 3, starting 6 pm.

  • Q. What should be the poster size?

    A. The space provided is for A0 posters (~4 feet by ~3 feet). Both orientations - horizontal and vertical will be fine.

  • Q. How will the posters be put up?

    A. We have arranged for soft boards for putting up posters. We will provide ~10 push pins per poster. If you need more, you should make your own arrangements.

  • Q. Will the poster remain for the entire conference after the poster session?

    A. No. Please remove your posters at the end of the session. If you do not remove your own posters, we do not guarantee that those will be preserved for you to pick up later.
