We are excited to announce a new sponsorship category in this edition of CODS COMAD conference - "Academic Partners" tailored specifically for academic entities.
With the rapid advancements in AI, ML, and Data Science, the academic and research communities have increasingly focused on these cutting-edge fields. Numerous new programs, centers and schools have emerged, all contributing significantly to the advancement of research. In the recent past, multiple many of them have expressed interest in partnering with CODS COMAD, recognizing it as a premier venue in this field in India to interact and collaborate with the larger data community. Owing to the absence of any dedicated sponsors, we offered the same sponsorship tiers to both academic and industry entities. Starting this edition, we are introducing a new "Academic Partners" category of sponsorship. This sponsorship tier, priced at 1.5 Lakhs, provides the same benefits as the Silver Industry Sponsorship (2 Lakhs). This category is open to academic institutions and their affiliated entities, such as (hypothetical names) Institute of AI, Departments of Applied Data Science, Centers for Intelligent Data Systems, AI/ML Systems Computing Laboratories, etc. Academic Partners will be highlighted in a dedicated section on the conference website. We believe this will open opportunities for faculty and PhD student recruitment, developing collaboration with fellow sponsors from industry, gaining visibility from a large relevant community etc. apart from the listed benefits above.
Finally, institutions and affiliated entities are welcome to opt for higher sponsorship categories (Platinum, Diamond, and Gold) at the same sponsorship levels as industry sponsors, with the corresponding benefits.

[Update on 18-Sep-2024]: Based on the interest from some of the academic institutions - we are introducing a new category of sponsorship for the Academic Partners as “Student Networking Lunch Sponsors”. This is targeted to facilitate sharing of information by the institutions, provide them an opportunity to interact with the students including pitching for faculty or other research positions. Partners in this category will get to host a lunch session with all the student participants (including PhD students). In these sessions, the Partners can address the students for a duration of up to 15 minutes as well as interact with them over lunch. All the benefits of “Academic Partner” category will be there plus (i) 1 extra free conference attendance pass (total 3); (ii) Promotional material through welcome email and (iii) Contact list and CVs of student participants who provide consent to share.The sponsorship amount will be INR 2.5 Lakhs.
