Effective Jan 1 2024, the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS) has a new policy. See this page to learn about its implications on CODS-COMAD authors.
The Young Faculty & Researchers' Symposium at CODS-COMAD 2024 invites submissions from early-career faculty or postdoctoral scholars AND current students who have a track record of publishing. This is a unique opportunity for young faculty and postdoctoral scholars to receive feedback from mid-career and senior faculty. This is also an opportunity for young researchers to have fruitful peer-to-peer discussions and to get feedback from leading senior researchers about their current research work.
Submissions to the Young Faculty & Researchers' Symposium (YRS) will be in the form of a 2-page extended abstract excluding references. We invite submissions on the topics that align with the CFP of the conference. We welcome many kinds of papers, including but not limited to: novel research papers, work-in-progress papers, appraisal papers of existing methods and tools (e.g., lessons learned).
The author of the submission should be a faculty or a postdoctoral scholar OR a current undergraduate/postgraduate student. This track will follow a single-blind review process.
Authors of accepted papers will get a chance to present their work both as a poster and a quick lightning talk at the conference. The extended abstract will appear in the proceedings of the conference, which will be published in ACM Digital Library.
Submit your paper under the YRS track at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CODSCOMAD2024.
