CODS-COMAD 2022 will be held as a hybrid conference. Day-1 will be a physical event organized at the conference venue of IIIT Bangalore campus with proper COVID-19 norms being followed. The focus will be on in-person interactions and networking which includes lunch and banquet dinner for the attendees. Days 2 & 3 will have all events aired virtually through the online platform. The conference venue will broadcast the session and be open for participants to attend the online sessions and interactions with other participants. Day 2 & 3 will provide light snacks and tea/coffee.
The conference will provide travel assistance to a limited number of full-time students from degree granting institutions to attend the conference in person. While students with accepted papers are given preference, there are a limited number of grants for other students who are interested in attending. The goal is to promote participation of students from a diverse set of institutions and backgrounds who can benefit from attending a leading conference on data science and engaging with experts and their peers. Students who are provided the travel grant MUST attend all three days of the conference physically.
The travel grant will partially reimburse the cost of travel, stay and conference registration cost. The exact amount will be decided on the basis of the merit of the applicant as well as available funds. Maximum limit of the grant amount per student is INR 8000/- including (conference registration fees and travel). Grant awardees must register for the conference. The reimbursements will be provided after they attend the conference.
