Welcome
The 5th Joint International Conference on Data Science and Management of Data (CODS-COMAD) 2022 (9th ACM IKDD CODS and 27th COMAD), will be held on January 7-10, 2022.
CODS-COMAD is a premier international conference focusing on scientific work in Databases, Data Sciences and their applications. Being held for the 5th time as a common conference bringing together the COMAD and the CODS communities, this conference invites researchers in the field of databases, data sciences and their applications to submit their original work.
This year we are also introducing the Applied Data Science track that focuses on applied work addressing real-world problems and systems demonstrating tangible impact/value in their respective domains.
To highlight, the Applied Data Science Track is distinct from the Research Track in that submissions should focus on applied work addressing real-world problems and systems demonstrating tangible impact/value in their respective domains. It is required that a submission clearly specifies an audience or a group of users that have evidently benefited or will benefit from the solution presented in the submission. Please note that papers that do not satisfy the requirements (e.g., a research track paper) might be rejected without a formal review. Authors are strongly recommended to check out the CFPs carefully. COMAD, a conference directed primarily at data management started in 1989 while CODS started in 2014 with an excellent program in AI/Machine Learning/Data Science. These two conferences came together for the first time in 2018.
