Young Researchers’ Symposium at CODS-COMAD 2018 conference invites submissions from students (undergraduate/master/doctoral) and postdoctoral fellows. This is a unique opportunity for young researchers to have fruitful peer to peer discussion and get feedback from leading senior researchers about their current research work. The submission should describe your current research including motivation, key related works, methodology, initial results, future plans and specific issues that you intend to discuss at the symposium. Submissions will be evaluated based on clarity of the research proposal, significance of the research work, and relevance to the data science community. Selected authors will get chance to present their work both as a poster and a short oral presentation at the symposium. Adequate student travel grant will be provided by the organizers to support the participation.

Schedule

The submission should not exceed three pages of content plus any number of pages for references. The submission should mention the name of the author, affiliation, status (Undergraduate/Master/ Doctoral/ Post Doc), and contact email address.. Use ACM “sigconf” proceedings template available at: ACM Templates . All the submissions must be made via Easychair. The proceedings will be published in ACM Digital Library. Additionally, authors of selected papers will have the choice to opt their paper out of the conference proceedings.
